Drive Fast, Look Hot, and Help Others
By Kimberly Phipps
Red Ferrari? Red Cross? A perfect match.
Giving to the Red Cross to help out Hurricane Sandy’s victims makes you feel great. But you know what else can make you feel great? Driving a smokin’ hot red Ferrari. And not just any smokin’ hot red Ferrari–an F12 Berlinetta. And since we’re listing things that make you feel great, there’s the sublime satisfaction of having the “first” of anything. Being the first to get something is just cool. (I was the first kid on my block to get a Big Wheel, so I should know.) So imagine the coolness cred of having the first ever Ferrari F12 Berlinetta not just in your town, or in your state, but on the entire continent of North America.
Hurricane relief efforts don’t always involve sexy Italian sports cars, except on Magnum P.I. reruns. But in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Ferrari is helping out the victims by auctioning the first new 2013 F12 Berlinetta to reach American shores, with all the proceeds going to the Red Cross to help those devastaed by the hurricane.
The auction with take place on Saturday, Novermber 17 at a Ferrari event in Austin, TX. But don’t worry if you can’t make it to Texas in time–absentee and telephone bidding will also be available. If you’re interested, contact your local authorized Ferrari dealership for more details.
