A VroomGirls Party with Holiday Cocktails!
It’s holiday time…these winter-themed favorites will add “mixologist” to your party-givng resume. But remember, moderation is key, and a designated driver a must. And each of these festive holiday cocktails is just as tasty in a mocktail version.

The cocktail, while never entirely out of fashion, has experienced a renaissance in the last few years. Tipple that used to be relegated to the “icky brown section” of your dad’s liquor cabinet is now being crafted by artisans, and mixed with an amazing array of ingredients that the guys from the Mad Men era would have never dreamt of. Some are stuck in their college days mindset, where all you needed for a bar was a bottle of white rum and a blender for frozen-fruity things, served out of those charming plastic red tumblers.
Sadly, this leads many an otherwise fashion-forward and clever party host to keep the drink options to red or white wine. Vroomgirls, this should not be!
If you’re hosting a party this season, whether for a couple of friends or for a houseful, you don’t need to set up a full bar to serve tasty, unique and festive holiday cocktails to your guests. The accent with these drinks is quality ingredients, not on consuming large quantities of alcohol. With just a few key ingredients, you can offer a new beverage for your guests to enjoy that is as trendy as the ones they’ll find at the hippest new bars. We’ve also discovered some sophisticated and flavorful mocktails that reward your designated drivers with pretty drinks of their own, instead of relegating them to cans of Diet Coke from the fridge. These non-alcoholic specialties are also a great way to give kids special drinks at parties as well.
So–get that shaker ready, and dust off those cute cocktail glasses you bought at the outlet mall last year. It’s time to party! We’ve assembled no less than seven recipes for you here, including a pumpkin-tini, a tasty pilgrim, and even a pancake-inspired drink called Jemima Knows Best. It’s Holiday Cocktails time, VroomGirls style … enjoy!
