What’s In A Name?

You could buy a celebrity-endorsed gizmo, but do you really think Kim Kardashian or Heather Lockleer has spent much time in a lab creating a hair dryer? Leave it to the professionals. Ferrari contracted with top-notch grooming products company BaByliss Pro to make its quick-as-a-race car gadgets.

BaByliss Pro V1 Volare Hair Dryer

High Performance is the buzzword with this Ferrari-red blow dryer. It dries three-times faster than an ordinary blower, and is also quicker than standard ionic dryers. The company calls it the “Grand Prix of Styling” and we’d have to agree. There’s a lot to love about it – including a cute Italian flag emblazoned on the side.

The V1 Volare Ferrari dryer is 2000 watts, Ferrari-designed, and made in Italy. It comes with six heat and speed controls, because after all, when moving fast, it’s important to stay in control at all times. The tri-port ionic generator (who knows what that means) works to dry hair quickly, reducing the possibility of frizz, and making hair straightening a cinch. Like the Ferrari car, this blow dryer is lightweight and a breeze to maneuver.

A “Turbo-Shot” button forces up to 15 percent more air through the super thin nozzle, for even faster performance. And it wears an extra-long nine-foot tangle-free cord (in red, of course) so that you can style anywhere there’s a plug, even if the power source is far away. $189, and worth every penny!

BaByliss Pro X1 Volare Clipper

Your racy stud will love the Ferrari-designed engine on this bright red clipper. Like the Ferrari hairdryer, it makes quick work of his morning grooming. It operates with or without a cord (and charges in just an hour to produce 70 minutes of running time), so he can juice it up and bring it to work or on trips for a fast touch up. The Volare clipper even has a 100-240V auto voltage conversion if he travels overseas.

The guys in my household raved about the Ferrari BaByliss Pro X1 Volare Clipper. They’re lazy, so they don’t like to shave, and complain that it takes too long. My 18-year-old son said he brushed the clipper a few times over his face and it gave him the slightly unshaven look he likes in about 30 seconds. I hate to say it, but it might be the perfect lazy man’s gift.

The BaByliss Pro X1 has a 45-degree cutting blade with titanium coating, which is said to outlast stainless blades by a long shot. There are 5 cutting positions on a twist dial, a rubberized back handle that feels good in the hand and is lightweight. It comes with a charging stand, several comb attachments, oil, a cleaning brush and an adapter. $199 (but we found it online for about $155.)

thank you for the info, but my favorite is the Karmin G3 Salon Pro Hair Dryer which works pretty good, dries my hair fast and keeps the hair soft, shiny and smooth. 🙂
