MINI Meets High Fashion
Recycled MINI Roadster parts find their way into a high-end bag collection from Carmina Campus

Fendi or Fender? It’s both!
What do you get when you combine a MINI Roadster, an earth conscious handbag brand and a designer from the famed Italian design family, Fendi? The latest bag collection from Carmina Campus. Designer Ilaria Venturini Fendi, the youngest daughter of Anna Fendi, retired from the renowned family accessories company to run an organic farm in Northern Rome. Still with her family trade at heart, in 2006, she launched the bag line, Carmina Campus, a collection of beautiful Italian-crafted bags made from recycled materials. The latest collection is a collaboration with MINI, using color samples, leftover material offcuts, seat leather, canvas soft-tops and door handles to create sophisticated bags. The bags, made with the quality Italian craftsmanship the designer and her family are known for, are part of a limited edition collection featuring 50 bags, each of which is unique.
The bags, which come in work styles, totes and clutches, cost between 350 and 700 euros and are available at the 10 Corso Como store in Milan, via the store’s online shop http://www.10corsocomo-theshoponline.com/shop/index.php?content=page&idPage=14520&language=en and also via yoox.com.
